my own private branch

Björk - Unison (live at the Royal Opera House)

Not even that little slip of the voice at 03.48 can destroy or desacralize the overwhelming beauty of this musical composition. If there's any truth in this world, it's music. It's what we can do with it, it's through it (and not only it) that we can elevate our existence to a state of pure awe. "One hand allows the other" to shake it, to embrace it, to kiss it, to hold it, to hi5 it, to measure it, to play with it, to bless it.

Or perhaps I'm just too young.

well, I am young too, though I consider myself an old soul:)

isn't it fascinating when even a perfectly shaped voice slips?
(3:48 Pychosis, I would say, lol)
music is indeed the universal language. a vessel for the imperfection of this world, which makes it... wonderful, and painful.
